Hello! My name is Oleksandra, but I prefer when people call me Sasha ☺️

I've been good with a needle since childhood. Hand sewing, embroidery, knitting, crocheting, all this fascinated me a lot. Monotonous and painstaking work has never scared me. Back in school I could embroider all night long. In high school I completed a 2-year seamstress course. Our teacher was strict, but she taught us excellently. I really enjoyed working with her. At the university I studied Thermal Power Engineering, and was able to find time for handicrafts only when I went on maternity leave.
I sewed my first knitting needle case in 2013 for my friend using a free tutorial. With new orders came more and more requests for execution and I created new designs. So in my range of products appeared organisers for various types of knitting needles, hooks and other notions necessary for needlewomen, project bags of different shapes and sizes. But what remains unchanged is my attention to quality and details, my love for my work and my dear customers. Previously, I only sewed to order; my work can be viewed on my personal Instagram page sasha_kulbatska . Now I am starting a new chapter in my design and creative life. This site will be a platform, where you can buy finished products. Also hope to collaborate with artists from other creative fields. Stay tuned.
The name IN BLOWBALLS comes from the name of my blog http://hunk-in-blowballs.blogspot.com/?m=1  which I led for 10 years since 2009. My last name in Ukrainian contains part of the word blowball :) And yes I am originally from Odessa, Ukraine and am one of three siblings. Currently I live in Guildford, UK with my husband and our two kids .
